Youth attendees learn proper flag etiquette during a summer workshop

On Friday, June 14, youth learned all about Flag Day and proper flag etiquette led by Rose Wolf. By learning the history behind our nation’s flag and Flag Day, youth can better express their patriotism. Community members who have served or are currently serving, came in and talked to youth about the branch of military they served and their experiences. Youth then colored pictures and wrote cards to send out to currently serving members of the military.
