The 113 chapters and over 6500 members that make up the South Dakota FFA Association (SD FFA) will celebrate National FFA Week February 21-28, 2026. It’s a time to share what FFA is and the impact it has on members every day. National FFA Week embraces more than 98 years of FFA traditions while looking forward to the organization’s future. More than 1,042,245 members with a passion for agriculture participate in activities at local, state and national levels.

President Trump provided his answer to this question in his Feb. 6, 2026, proclamation titled, “Ensuring Affordable Beef for the American Consumer.” The proclamation increases the in-quota quantity of lean beef trimmings that can be imported from Argentina by an additional 80,000 metric tons during the 2026 calendar year, which is in addition to the 20,000 metric ton annual in-quota quantity limit already applicable to Argentina.

The Gregory County FFA chapter recently completed a Bloom in Every Room project for nursing home and assisted living residents in Gregory County. After school, the chapter members put together small floral arrangements at Bouquets and Brushstrokes in Burke. Bouquets and Brushstrokes donated the flowers and vases, and the Ag Leadership class in Gregory made kindness cards and delivered the valentines. In total 75 arrangements were delivered to residents in Avera Rosebud Country Care Center and Silver Threads in Gregory and Haisch Haus in Bonesteel.
