Spikers took on Todd County at home on Tuesday, September 24, and beat them in 3 sets, 25-13, 2826, and 25-17. Haylie Vaughn led the team with 17 digs.

The Street Bandits Car Club hosted a car show that was held at the Avera Rosebud Country Care Center on Saturday, September 29. Residents had a good time even though the weather was a little warm. Residents decided the winners by voting for their favorite cars. The Gregory & Dallas Chamber of Commerce provided bouncy houses for the kids.

In 1870, Gen. D. S. Stanley was in command of the military district of Dakota, with headquarters at Fort Sully. The U. S. Infantry was stationed at the different forts in the territory and at the Indian agencies which included the Whetstone Agency.
