South Dakota Attorney General Marty Jackley warns residents impacted by the flooding in southeast South Dakota to be careful about flood-related scams involving fraudulent home repairs and charity appeals.

Al's Oasis, the South Dakota travel landmark just off I-90 at Oacoma, will soon have its restaurant operated by G.F. Buche Company, a South Dakota retailer since 1905. The company purchased the Al's Oasis complex in 2022, opening a Buche Foods grocery store in the facility while leasing the popular restaurant to an independent operator.
