XC team beats the heat at Augie’s Twilight Meet

The Gregory cross country team played host to nine other schools on September 1, 2026. The meet was shortened up by several storm clouds that came through the area that afternoon. The varsity boys and girls ran together to start the meet. After a weather delay, the JV boys and girls started their race, but unfortunately another cloud came through and the race was cut short.

Southern Plains Behavioral Health has open house scheduled

Southern Plains Behavioral Health (SPBH) will celebrate the grand opening of their Gregory location with an open house on Friday after the Homecoming parade. SPBH moved into part of the building in 2024 while work continued on the other half.

Although Brian Bonsteel was in Gregory conducting some work for the Chamber of Commerce over the weekend of Harvest Fest and Farm to Table, that work was more of a secondary reason for making the trip to rural South Dakota from Savannah, Georgia.
