Snow, snow, snow!

South Central South Dakota was again blanketed with the white stuff Friday night and Saturday with an unofficial estimate of another ten inches. The snow brought with it bitter cold temperatures for several days, but this time the winds were gentle.

Storm wrestlers extend dual record to 7-2, place 5th in Winner

The Burke/Gregory Storm wrestlers had two meets last week - a triangular hosted by Lyman and the Winner Invitational Tournament. The Storm won both of their duals at the Lyman triangular, beating Lyman 51-21 and Wessington Springs/Woonsocket/Wolsey-Wessington 38-34.

Gorillas suffer second loss of the season

The Gregory Gorillas played Hanson in the Hanson Classic at the Corn Palace on Saturday, and the Beavers dealt the Gorillas their second loss of the year by a score of 50-38. The Gorillas never had a lead the entire game, as Hanson scored first and led at all quarter breaks.

Gov. Kristi Noem’s personal cell phone hacked

Following the leak of Governor Kristi Noem and her family’s personal Social Security numbers and other private information by the January 6th Committee, Governor Noem’s personal cell phone number has been hacked and used to make hoax calls. Governor Noem had no involvement in these calls.
