Dear Editor, I recently contacted our senators and congressman regarding the federal omnibus bill. Johnson told me he would not vote for it, but Rounds and Thune made no such promise. On December 22, 2022, Rounds and Thune joined with Senate Democrats and RINOs and voted yes for this porkinfested bill.

The regular meeting of the Gregory County Board of Commissioners was held at 9:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at the courthouse in Burke. The books are now in order The final operating transfer of 2022 from the General Fund to the Road & Bridge Fund in the amount of $225,000 was approved.
