The IOOF, Sunshine Club, and representatives of the movie theatre came together during the 6-12 band concert and raised over $1,700.00 for the Gregory pool fund. Disney movie tunes headlined the Gregory Elementary concert, Tuesday evening, May 3, as students performed such hits as “Let It Go” from Frozen, “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious” from Mary Poppins, and “Circle of Life” from Lion King.

Several Chamber of Commerce members were on hand to celebrate Essential Balance Day Spa’s ribbon cutting and grand opening with owners Dawn Waldner and her daughters, Jadesa Jones and Lyndra Michael. The Gregory Lions Club, represented by Lorraine Hlavka, l, and Roberta Spann, r, donated $1,000 to the Gregory American Legion. Gregory Smith, center, Legion commander, said that the money will go toward continuing improvements at the Legion Club. They recently installed new equipment in the kitchen and plan to use this money toward a refrigerated double drawer and LED lighting upgrades in the dining room.

The South Dakota State University’s Choralia, or women’s choir), of which 2021 Gregory High School graduate Keeley Klein is a part, started their spring tour in Gregory at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 19, 2022, in the Gregory school gym. (Keeley is in the back row, sixth from the left.)

Gregory High School’s production of Little Women was held Friday and Saturday, April 29 and 30, at Dixon Townhall Theater..
