Dorothy Schultz

Funeral services for Dorothy Schultz were held Monday, April 15, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Naper, NE, with Pastor Samuel Crass officiating.

Music was provided by Lisa Reiman, organist. Urn bearers were Leann’s nieces and nephews. Clausen Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Dorothy Leann Schultz was born September 18, 1950 in Stuart, NE, to Fritz and Dorothy (Riley) Kohle.

Dorothy attended Stuart Catholic grade school and then Stuart High School, graduating with the Class of 1969. After getting married to Robert Norton and moving to California in 1971, she had a son, Jason Norton. They lived in California until moving back to Stuart, NE, in 1990. She then married Robert Schultz of Naper, NE, her husband of 28 years. She enjoyed living on the farm the last 28 years helping with the cattle and her little baby calves. Leann also enjoyed having her horses and she had a love of the outdoors. She spent years in the bowling league with her girlfriends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Lawrence and Bertha Nagel; parents Fritz Kohle and Dorothy Cline; her brother Frank Kohle and her sister Connie Brenden.

Dorothy died on April 9, 2024, at her home near Naper, NE, at the age of 73.

Leann is survived by her husband Robert “Bob” Schultz; her son Jason Norton; her sister and brother-in-law Milt and Shelly Thompson; her other sister and brother-in-law Jolene and Jeff Schonebaum; brother- in-law Tom Brenden; as well as several nieces, nephews; and greatnieces and nephews.

Leann’s faith meant a lot to her and she enjoyed the community and people.
