Janyce Adams was born in Burke, SD, on July 5, 1938, to Elmer and Alice Wendell. Janyce was a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, known for her kindness, strong work ethic, and devotion to family.
Janyce spent many years as an administrative assistant in the life insurance industry, where her meticulous work and dedication earned her the respect and admiration of colleagues and clients alike. Throughout her career, she exemplified integrity, professionalism, and a warm, helpful nature.
Janyce Marie Adams, 86, passed away at her home in Peoria, AZ, on November 3, 2024.
Janyce was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Adams, whom she married in 1959 and shared a life for over 45 years; her parents Elmer and Alice Wendell; and brothers, Wayne Wendell (and his wife Ilene), Willis Wendell, Kenneth Wendell, and infant brother Donald Wendell.
Janyce is survived by her two daughters, Diane Isler and husband Joe of Seville, FL, and Darcy Tennant and husband Chris of Eagle, CO; granddaughters: Bri’ann Lewis and husband Dave of Parker, CO, Brittany Adams and husband Chris of Aurora, CO, Macayla Isler and fiancé Mackenzie Garrison of Denver, CO, and Madyson Isler of Lone Tree, CO; four great-grandchildren; brothers: Delbert Wendell and wife Lois of Gregory, SD, and Dennis Wendell and wife Pam of Bristow, NE; sister-in-law Phyllis Wendell of Sioux Falls, SD; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Janyce’s was a source of strength and inspiration to her family, and her love will continue to resonate in the hearts of those she left behind.
