David Lenker

Funeral services for David Lenker were held on Saturday, July 16, 2022, at 11;00 a.m. at the Orthodox Presbyterian Church in Winner, SD, with Pastor Nick Barnes officiating.

David Lee Struckman-Johnson

David was born on October 7, 1948, in Elgin, IL, to Robert V. and Margaret Powell Struckman. David graduated from Larkin High School in Elgin in 1966. He graduated from Purdue University with a bachelor of science degree in psychology in 1970 and from the University of South Dakota with a PhD in human factors psychology in 1973. He was affiliated with the University of South Dakota his entire career, as a research associate and graduate student in human factors psychology in 1972, a research associate professor of psychology in 1979, a joint professor of psychology and computer science in 1982, and a professor of computer science in 1997. David served as interim chair of computer science in 2011, and as chair from 2012 -2014, until he retired. David was declared professor emeritus upon his retirement.

William Kucera

William “Bill” W. Kucera died at Foothills Hospital in Boulder, CO, on June 4, 2022, at the age of 87. Crist Mortuary & Cremation and Mountain View Memorial Park of Boulder, CO, were in charge of arrangements.

Jesse Matucha

A memorial service for Jesse Jay Matucha was held on Friday, June 24, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. at the First Southern Baptist Church in Gregory, SD, with Pastor Russ Grim officiating.

MARTIN JOE III

MARTIN JOE III, 66, was born 21 January 1956 in Winner, SD. The second child in the family. He was in the US Army from 1974 - 1977. He was a body car repairman and liked to work on the older cars. He died at his home in Gregory on 15 February 2022. Preceding him in death were his parents, sister Vicki and son Chris; brothers Kevin, Clinton and Brian. Surviving are a daughter Amber and son Dalton; brother Randy and sister Lisa; nephews, nieces, and other relatives. Members of the Orville and Helen Hysell family and also the Martin Peter and Anna Rezac family preceded them in death. Surviving are uncle Tom Hysell and aunt Evelyn Rezac, cousins, and other relatives.

BRIAN DUANE

BRIAN DUANE, 62, was born 28 November 1957 in Winner, SD. He was the third child born. He was a heavy equipment mechanic and welder. Loved to go fishing and go to movies. He died at his home in Lakewood, CO on 23 August 2020. Preceded in death by his parents; sister Vicki and her son Chris; brothers Kevin and Clinton. Survived by his wife Teresa and son Kyle, sister Lisa and brothers Marty and Randy, nephews and nieces.

CHRISTOPHER MARTIN

CHRISTOPHER MARTIN, 44, was born 13 July 1973 in Lakewood, CO to Vicki Rezac. He was an iron worker and welder. He was raised in the home of his grandparents Martin and Leila. He died 04 March 2018 as the result of a car pedestrian accident. Preceding him in death was his mother, grandparents, and uncles Kevin and Clinton. Surviving is his aunt Lisa, uncles Marty, Brian (Teresa), Randy, and cousins.

VICKI LEE REZAC NEAL

VICKI LEE REZAC NEAL, 59, was born 20 October 1954 at Winner, SD. Vicki was the oldest child of the family of seven. She cleaned homes for others and could also weld. She died 14 November 2013 at a Denver hospital. Preceding her in death were her parents and brothers Kevin and Clinton. Surviving is a son Chris; sister Lisa; brothers Marty, Brian (Teresa), Randy, nephews and nieces.
