Funeral services set for Wilma Schnabel
Funeral services for Wilma Schnabel, age 84, of Gregory, SD, will be held on Saturday, March 20, 2021, at 10:30 a.m. at the Emmaus Lutheran Church in Tripp, SD, with Pastor Marcus Ring, officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant View Cemetery in rural Tripp, SD. There will be a prayer service on Friday, March 19, 2021, at 7:00 p.m. at the St. John Lutheran Church in Gregory, SD. Kotrba-Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Memorial services for Harlan “Duke” Stahlecker, age 86, of Naper, NE, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 19, 2021, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Naper, NE. Burial will be in St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery in Naper, NE. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. Brockhaus Funeral Home in Spencer, NE, is in charge of arrangements.
Senior Citizens Center to hold pitch party
The Senior Citizens Center will hold their monthly pitch party on Saturday, March 20, at 1:00 p.m. Everyone welcome. Feel free to bring a friend.
American Legion to hold monthly meeting
American Legion and Sons of the American Legion monthly meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 17, 2021. Sons will meet at 7:00 p.m., Terry Hansen from State Headquarters will be on hand to answer any questions about membership. Legion will meet at 8:00 p.m.
Commodity truck to be in Gregory March 18 & 25
The commodity truck will be at the Gregory Memorial Auditorium parking lot and community room on Thursday, March 18, 2021 and Thursday, March 25, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Please bring your own boxes. Any questions please call Marlene Rezac at (605) 831-9315.
Feeding South Dakota truck will be in Gregory
The Feeding South Dakota truck will be in Gregory on Friday, March 19, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. The truck will be set up at the Gregory swimming pool parking lot. Two families in one vehicle will be allowed, but must be 18 years or older.
