Gorillas defeat Irene-Wakonda Eagles, to improve record to 1-1

  • The Gorillas had a strong night against Irene-Wakonda last Friday night at their first game at home. Quarterback Rylan Peck assisted in the team effort completing 5 of 7 passes to Gannon Thomas and Kade Stukel to help earn the Gorillas two TD’s and two 1st downs. Peck also rushed 9 times to gain 125 yards for an additional two touchdowns and five first downs. The Gorilla defense held the Eagles to six 1st downs and 137 yards of total offense.
