The Gregory Spikers traveled to White Lake on Monday, October 20, 2025, to take on the Kimball/ White Lake WiLdKats. The Spikers showed grit and composure in a challenging environment, pushing through adversity with determination and teamwork.

The Gregory Spikers traveled to Mount Vernon-Plankinton on Tuesday, October 21, to face off against the Lady Titans and came away with a strong threeset victory. The girls played with great energy and focus from the start, executing well on both offense and defense to control the pace of the match.

Gregory cheer and dance team peaks for state competition

The Gregory cheer and dance team competed in the state meet in Watertown on Friday, October 24, 2024, and ended the season with some of their best performances. The girls performed their cheer routine first, and executed perfectly, according to Coach Lenna Braun.

Gorillas end 2025 football season at Tyndall

The Gregory football team ended their 2025 season Thursday evening, October 23, 2025, with a 28-48 loss to Bon Homme in the first round of playoffs. Although saddened to see the season end, Coach Mike Murray wasn’t disappointed in his team.

XC runners wrap up season at State meet

Gregory runners participated in a cool, breezy, overcast state meet on Saturday, October 25, 2025, in Huron, SD. Luke Barreto capped off his senior season by making it onto the podium with a 14th place finish and a time of 17:32.74. Luke finishes his stellar career at Gregory, placing in the last three state meets.

Football team battles tough Parkston in final regular season game

In their last regular season game of the year, the Gorilla footballers faced a tough opponent on the road in Parkston, falling in a 20-42 loss. The Trojans dominated for the first half, but the Gorillas battled hard throughout the game completing 50 plays in total, gaining 87 yards passing, and 74 hard-fought yards rushing.

The Gregory cheer and dance team competed in Platte on Saturday, October 18, 2025, their last competition before state. With comments from the judges like: “So fun! Great energy throughout!” “Loved it!” “Fun choreo!” and “Nice hip hop motions, attitude,” it is no surprise that the girls placed first in hip hop.
