High school wrestlers begin season in Custer

The Burke/Gregory Storm boys and girls wrestlers began their season Thursday-Saturday, December 4-6, 2025, in Custer. The weekend began with duals against Custer, Hot Springs, and Harding County for the boys on Thursday evening.

Leber recognized for 25 years as a volleyball official

The 2025 South Dakota State Volleyball Championships were especially meaningful for Beth Leber of Gregory. Not only was she a line judge at the tournament, working with her brother Brian, who was an official, but also she was recognized for 25 years of outstanding service and dedication in officiating volleyball games in the South Central Region.

Last Tuesday the Burke-Gregory Middle School Wresters attended the Valentine boys wrestling tournament and took home the first place team trophy. Schools that participated were Ainsworth, Broken Bow, Burwell, Gordon-Rushville, Winner, and Valentine.

End of a chapter: Spikers finish 2025 season against Burke

The Gregory Spikers closed out their 2025 volleyball season Thursday night, November 6, 2025, as they traveled to Bonesteel take on the Burke Lady Cougars. Despite falling short on the scoreboard, this group once again showed exactly who they are—a team built on character, growth, grit, and sportsmanship.

Region play opens with Spikers 4-set win

Region play kicked off on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, and what an exciting start for our girls! The Gregory Lady Spikers traveled to Burke to face off against the Lyman Lady Red Raiders and came out strong, taking the match in four sets with scores of 25-9, 2624, 23-25, and 25-11. “I could not be more proud of the energy and competitive fire these girls showed,” Head Coach Lauren Braun said.
