Gregory Spikers break 18-year streak against Wagner

The Gregory Spikers ended Wagner’s 18-game winning streak between the two schools on Thursday, September 12, in a hardfought matchup at home. After a close 25-23 win in the first set, the Spikers put a little more distance between them and their rivals in the second set, winning 25-20.

Cheer and dance team goes up against big schools at Corn Palace

The Gregory High School cheer and dance team went up against some much larger schools at the Corn Palace on Thursday, September 5. While it was fun for the Gregory girls to watch teams such as Harrisburg, Brandon Valley, Sioux Falls Jefferson, and Dakota Valley, they were outmatched, especially being short one of the higher leveled skill girls, who has to sit out a week for concussion protocol.

Spikers place second in host tourney

The Spikers finished second at the Gregory Invitational on Saturday, September 7. Gregory overcame Colome in two sets, 25-18 and 25-18.

Gorillas persevere to beat Platte-Geddes in 4-point win

The Gregory Gorillas football team allowed 14 unanswered points in their game at home against Platte-Geddes on Friday night, September 6, before they scored a touchdown as the clock expired in the first half on a Lincoln Juracek pass to Colt Keiser. Landon Keiser scored on the twopoint conversion to narrow the Gorilla deficit to six points.

Cheer and dance team starts season with a win in dance

Gregory High School’s cheer and dance team hosted Winner, Platte-Geddes, Bon Homme, and Wagner at their invitational on Saturday, August 31, 2024, and dazzled the crowd and judges with their dance routines.
