Gorillas unable to stop Loeffler in loss to TD/A/AC/DC

The Gregory Gorillas football team hit the road Friday, August 30, and faced defeat at the hands of Tripp-Delmont/Armour/ Andes Central/Dakota Christian. Hunter Loeffler was the show for the first half of the Thunderhawks’ homecoming game, scoring 24 unanswered points before quarterback Landon Keiser found Rane Kenzy on a 59-yard touchdown pass.

Spikers face tough KWL in first competition last Thursday night

The Gregory Spikers “came out with fire and energy” for their first game of the season, according to Head Coach Lauren Braun. They won their first set against Kimball/ White Lake 25-17 at home on Thursday, August 29, but KWL responded by winning the next three sets, 25-23, 25-17, and 25-20 to claim the match.

Gregory’s competitive cheer & dance team ready for a new season

The 2024 competitive cheer & dance season officially started on August 5, 2024. This past spring we had tryouts for sideline cheer and went into the summer with 15 girls attending skill building classes at Get Fit w/Jenny and open gyms.

Twenty-three two-person golf teams teed up at the Gregory Golf Course last Saturday for a tournament sponsored by Charlie Johnson and associates. It was a beautiful day for golfing, hunting for plastic eggs, and finding the rubber snakes, compliments of Nikki Johnson and Jessica Calhoon.

Spikers look ahead to new season with new coach

The Gregory Spikers will begin their season on Thursday, August 29, with a “great mix of upper classmen and younger talent,” according to the team’s new head coach Lauren Braun. “This year is opening us up to new options, as we have many girls who can play multiple positions,” Braun commented.

The Gregory Gorilla football team had their first test of the season, hosting the Scotland/ Menno Trappers on Friday evening, August 23, 2024. Scotland/Menno was first to get on the board with a 25-yard pass in the first quarter.
