Big inning fuels Central City win over Gregory Co. Legion

Central City Post 6 Legion defeated Gregory County Legion 9-1 on Sunday, June 16, in Central City thanks, in part to five runs in the fifth inning. Central City opened the scoring in the first inning after Noah Bearshield induced Conner Erickson to hit into a fielder’s choice, but one run scored.

Gregory Elementary holds Track and Field event

The Gregory Elementary held a Track and Field Day on May 8, 2024. The morning was packed with track and field events. After lunch, the students participated in some fun relay contests. Some of these relays included tug-of-war, 3-legged race, gunny sack race, balloon pop relay, cracker race, box race and the gallon of water race. It was a nice day with tons of fun.
