Vermillion got off to an early lead on the brutally hot day, in which game times were moved back several hours to try to beat the heat, but Gregory couldn’t recover in a 12-5 loss.

As hot as it has been, it will still be hard for many of us to say good-bye to summer. Even though pumpkin spice (or maple walnut if that is your preference) and crisp, cool autumn days are still a ways off, the calendar says that the first day of school is just around the corner.
