    Americans deserve to know where their beef comes from

    Today, consumers cannot tell whether the beef they buy is from the United States or imported from one of roughly 20 countries. Global packers reap windfall profits by importing lower-cost foreign beef and cattle and selling it for the same price as if it were domestic.

    Fall harvest reveals wildlife benefits of soil health

    Judging by the number of pheasants stirred up from his fields during corn harvest, Craig Stehly was anticipating a bountiful hunting season. He attributes that to the weather, a good hatch this spring, and also to the green he sees in his fields growing amongst the brown corn stalks.

    After latest competitions, entire oral interpretation team advances to regions

    The Gregory Oral Interpretation Team has been busy the last two weeks. The team traveled to Murdo on Oct. 27 to compete in a tournament with nine pieces. On Nov. 4, the team traveled to Cedar Shore Resort in Oacoma with seven pieces, to compete in districts. Both events were a success for the team.
