    Cheer and dance team wows judges with fun routines

    The Gregory cheer and dance team competed in Winner on Saturday, September 12, 2026. The judges enjoyed the hip hop routine, commenting on how fun it is and the girls’ great facial expressions.

    Cross country tackles tough Scotland Course

    The Gregory cross country team participated in the Scotland invite on September 8. 'We didn't have much of a recovery time, as we ran at the Augie Twilight the Friday before this meet. Scotland is a tough course and overall our times were not as good as we wanted them to be.'

    Gorillas defeat the Thunder Hawks 40-6

    The Gregory/Colome Gorillas improved their record to 1-2 on the season with a 40-6 home win against the TDAACDC Thunder Hawks. In the first quarter, the Gorillas put together a nice drive and scored on a David Biggins 36 yard run. Wyatt Beck added the two-point conversion, and the Gorillas took an early lead. The Gorillas forced the Thunder Hawks to a three and out and quickly scored the second touchdown on a Wyatt Beck 4 yard burst. Early in the second quarter, Jacob Klein found Avery Sengelmann sprinting down the sideline for a 75 yard touchdown completion. Wyatt Beck quickly punched in the two-point conversion. The Gorillas continued to play solid defense, and David Biggins scored his second touchdown of the night on an 8-yard run. The Gregory/Colome Gorillas led 28-0 at the intermission. In the second half, the Gorillas scored two more touchdowns and took a commanding lead 40-0. TDAACDC scored late in the fourth quarter, and the final score ended up 40-6.

    Lady Spikers continue to battle on the court

    by Coach Dana Knuppe On Tuesday, the Lady Spikers made the long trip to Wessington Springs for two games. The JV came out strong and held a lead for most of the first set.
