Southern Plains Behavioral Health to hold butterfly release for suicide prevention

Southern Plains Behavioral Health Services will hold their 3rd annual butterfly release at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at the Gregory Park Performance Center. September is Suicide Prevention Month, a time to raise awareness, spread hope, and spark meaningful action around one of the most urgent mental health issues of our time, and September 10 is Suicide Prevention Day.

Street improvements underway but with temporary setback

Equipment failure put an early halt to street grinding, Public Works Superintendent Guhner Kepler reported at the regular meeting of the Gregory City Council, 6 p.m., on Tuesday, September 2, 2025. The machine was being looked at the evening of the council meeting.
