The Madison Daily Leader of May 6, 1905, reported: “Horse thieves appear to be doing large business in Keya Paha county, Nebraska; Lyon county, Iowa; and in the southeastern part of South Dakota. Notices have been received by Sheriff Young of this city, notifying him of the operations of a gang of horse thieves that infest those sections.

Mollie Andrews receives teaching award

Mollie Andrews has been named Early Career Teacher of the Year by the South Dakota Association of Agriculture Educators (SDAAE). Mollie has been teaching Agriculture and welding for six years.

Kenzy to address 8th grade graduates

Nick Kenzy will be the keynote speaker for the Gregory Middle School eighth grade graduation ceremony at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 13, 2025. Kenzy, a member of the Gregory High School class of 2025 is the son of George and Michelle Kenzy and brother to Brooklyn and Tyler, has participated in basketball, vice president of National Honor Society, senior class president, and president of Future Farmers of America.

Pickleball courts coming this summer
