Hipp Theater to open this weekend

The new projector has arrived, and Hipp Theatre will open this weekend. Friday and Saturday, October 29 and 30, the theater will show The Addams Family 2 as a free movie, a sort of treat, not trick, to celebrate Halloween.

Four Gregory students will have the opportunity to be part of All-State Chorus in Rapid City on October 29-30. Katherine Stevicks, Jordan Spann, Christian Spann, and Eli Barreto were selected to be part of the nearly 1,000 person choir.

The regular meeting of the Gregory County Board of Commissioners was held at 9:00 1.m., Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at the Gregory County courthouse in Burke. Travelers get approval Travel requests were reviewed and approved for John Jensen and DeWayne Bennett to attend the County Weed and Pest District meeting in Pierre on October 27 and for Brad Ellwanger’s trip to Sioux Falls on October 20-21 for the Local Roads Conference.
