Gridders start season with a win

The Gregory Gorillas football team hit the road on Friday evening and brought home a 48-38 win in a high-scoring matchup with Scotland/Menno. Gorillas were first on the board shortly into the first quarter when Quarterback Lincoln Juracek connected with Landon Keiser with a 46-yard touchdown pass.

Cheer and dance team looks forward to new year

The 2025 competitive cheer & dance season started on Monday, August 4. After the spring tryout for sideline cheer, 13 girls attended skill building classes with Get Fit w/Jenny. Because some of the girls want to do more than one sport, choreography was held in early June so they could have the summer to work on routines along with building skills they are hoping to use this year.

Cross country teams look ahead to 2025 season

The Gorilla cross country team got their season running on August 14 with the first practice. The high school team will consist of ten runners.

Bombers’ season comes to a close at state tournament

The Burke Bombers faced the Freeman Blacksox in their first round of the South Dakota Amateur Baseball Association State Tournament on Sunday, August 10, 2025, falling 4-19. The Blacksox were the first to get on the board in the first when Bailey Sage singled, scoring one run.
