Fenton/Painter take the lead in Gregory Women’s Golf League

Team Painter-Fenton are enjoying the view at the top of the women’s golf league having secured the number one spot on the leaderboard. Less than eight points separate them from team Bakke-VanDerWerff and Croegaert-Hogue. The Queen Be remains at the top of the individual standings for the season. Less than eight points also separate her from Denise Croegaert and Serena Bakke. The competition is tough going into the second half of the season. Twelve women shot in the 40s this week. Three of them were the top players for the week; Emma Schweigert, Lavonne Schweigert and Lauren Svatos. The course is a beautiful shade of green after the rain we have enjoyed recently.
