Letter to the Editor: Since I was told I would only get 3 minutes to speak, if I went to a city council meeting, I have chosen to use this forum to speak. On June 16, 2021,1 received a letter, FALSELY accusing me of a crime/ violation, that I was NOT responsible for.

The Missouri River was a major route of transcontinental travel as explorers, mountain men, trappers, and adventurers wondered what was “on the other side of the hill” or “just around the next bend.”

(This is the third in a series of articles chronicling Larry Anderson’s travels.) Larry Anderson and his friend Jim Selle had been on the road 14 days and covered 4500 miles through North Dakota, Montana, and Canada to reach Anchorage, Alaska, where they met up with their wives. The two couples spent the next three days exploring the Kenai Peninsula, a large peninsula jutting from the coast of southcentral Alaska, sometimes referred to as “Alaska’s Playground.” So named because of the plethora of recreational opportunities, the peninsula is a paradise for hiking, fishing, rafting, canoeing, sight seeing.
