Alaska trip takes Anderson group to Arctic Circle

(This is the third in a series of articles chronicling Larry Anderson’s travels.) Larry Anderson and his friend Jim Selle had been on the road 14 days and covered 4500 miles through North Dakota, Montana, and Canada to reach Anchorage, Alaska, where they met up with their wives. The two couples spent the next three days exploring the Kenai Peninsula, a large peninsula jutting from the coast of southcentral Alaska, sometimes referred to as “Alaska’s Playground.” So named because of the plethora of recreational opportunities, the peninsula is a paradise for hiking, fishing, rafting, canoeing, sight seeing.
