Burke Bombers 3 Colome Chaos 0 The Burke Bombers defeated Colome Chaos, 3-0, in the first round of the District 3B Amateur Baseball Tournament in Chamberlain on July 25. Both teams were strong on the hill but the Bombers came out on top.

The Gregory Jr. Teeners, coached by Nick Reber, won the VFW State Baseball Tournament Delta Division on Sunday, July 26. Gregory hosted six teams for the tournament at the Gregory City Park ballfield.
USDA accepts 208,932 acres in SD through 2026 CRP enrollment

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is accepting more than 208,000 acres in South Dakota into the Conservation Reserve Program (CRP) for 2026. Through CRP, USDA’s Farm Service Agency (FSA) offers agricultural producers and landowners incentive payments for their conservation efforts while benefiting their agricultural operations and protecting the nation’s natural resources.
