Police Chief Ryan Cook asked the council for suggestions to get drivers to slow down on city streets at the regular meeting of the Gregory City Council on Monday evening, June 1, 2026. He noted that the speed limit on all city streets is 25 mph except for Main Street, which is 20 mph, but the speeding problem continues to get worse. Once streets such as Logan Ave. are completed as part of the infrastructure project, the problem will likely get even worse.
