More than 2,100 students at the University of South Dakota in Vermillion, SD, are being honored for their high achievement, during the spring 2022 semester with the release of the dean’s list. Full-time undergraduate students are named to the dean’s list if they received a 3.5 GPA for courses they took in the spring 2022 semester and had no incomplete or failing grades.

South Dakota State University of Brookings, SD, announced the names of the undergraduates who have been named to the dean’s list for the spring 2022 semester. Local students include: Franklin Even of Burke, SD, agriculture, food and environmental sciences; Tyson Mayer of Burke, SD, engineering; Ryahna Schweigert of Burke, SD, nursing; Tyler Murray of Gregory, SD, engineering; Matthew Sinclair of Gregory, SD, engineering; Caleb Stukel of Gregory, SD, arts, humanities and social sciences; Jayd Vanderwerff of Gregory, SD, agriculture, food and environmental sciences..

The University of Sioux Falls recently announced spring 2022 dean’s list. Bethany Swift of Burke, SD, majoring in business administration, was among more than 600 students named to the dean’s list.

Northern State University in Aberdeen, SD, has released its dean’s list for the spring 2022 semester. Students who have earned at least a 3.5 grade point average for the semester are eligible for the dean’s list.

The Sons of the American Legion will be holding their monthly meeting on Thursday, June 16, at the Legion Post in Gregory. The meeting will start at 8:00 p.m. and all members and potential members are encouraged to attend.
