The South Dakota Senate on Tuesday, April 26, approved the rules for an impeachment trial of the state’s attorney general for his conduct surrounding a 2020 fatal car crash, laying out a two-day proceeding in June that gives just hours to either side to argue their case.

During the first half of the 19th century, standard medical practice consisted of a relatively small number of treatments which were often characterized by their immediate, visible, and sometimes severe impact on the patient. Active and vigorous antidotes were often used by the early doctors on the frontier. These sometime resulted in a fatal outcome.

Representatives from Missouri River Energy Services and MidAmerican Energy Company recently invited landowners who would be affected by a joint pumped storage project of the two entities to meet with them providing the landowners with an overview of the proposed project and giving them an opportunity to ask questions and offer input. Two meetings were held on Tuesday, April 19, in the community room at the Burke Civic Center, at 3:00 and 7:00 p.m.
