Extra! Extra! Read All About It! An emergency meeting of the D.A.K.O.T.A. council (Distinguished Allied Kritters of the Area) has been called by Lenny the Buffalo to solve this mysterious mystery. The adventures begin as Thakóža, RN Pheasant, Patty Pasque, Sven Spruce, and a host of other colorful characters go on eye-opening quests across South Dakota.

The Gregory High School bands and choirs attended large group contest in Mitchell on Wednesday, March 23rd. Gregory had 73 student musicians performing in either the band or the choir that day.

Spring square dance festival to be held in Sioux Falls, SD

The South Dakota State Square, Folk, and Round Dance Association is sponsoring the Spring State Square Dance Festival in Sioux Falls, SD. The event will be held on May 6 and 7, 2022, and will be hosted by the Spares N Pairs Square Dance Club of Sioux Falls. The theme of the festival is “May I Have This Dance? In Sioux Falls”.

Raffle winners announced at Gregory firemen’s St. Patrick’s Day

Winners of the Firemen’s raffle were Lori Arizmendis - $2,500; Mike and Laura McKean - $1,500; and Joely Shavlik - $1,000. Fire Chief Joel Bartling reported that the raffle was very popular, and the limited number of tickets sold out very quickly.

Sons of American Legion to meet

When I walk through downtown Rapid City and see the bronze statues of our presidents, I want to learn more about each of their successes and failures. I love the stories - and we can learn powerful lessons from those stories.
