Brian Hyde

Brian Hyde of Granite Falls died Thursday, November 24, 2021, at the Clarkfield Care Center at the age of 60.

Private services were held.

Brian David Hyde was born April 11, 1961, in Burke, SD, to Hanford and Mary (Tinsley) Hyde. He grew up in Gregory, SD, where he helped his family with their honeybee business. Brian attended and graduated from Gregory High School in 1979.

He was united in marriage to Tamera Fischer on August 13, 1999, in Brookings, SD. They made their home in Sioux Falls, SD, and later moved to Granite Falls, MN. Brian spent most of his life in the hospitality business working as a hotel clerk, and most recently at the Prairie’s Edge Casino.

Brian is survived by his wife, Tamera “Tammy” of Granite Falls, MN; children, Stephanie and Benjamin Hyde; father, Hanford Hyde; stepchildren, Tony and Michael Cola; step-granddaughter, Aria; sisters, Barbara Deberg and Judy Walker; brother, Robert Hyde; and other extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary, and brother, William Hyde.

Anderson-TeBeest Funeral Home of Granite Falls, MN, was in charge of arrangements.
