Cheyenne Paige Krieger was born on December 24th, 2000 in Fremont, NE, to Cody and Jennifer Krieger.

Even though she was twelve weeks early, she was a fighter from the beginning. She spent a little over three months in the NICU at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE. She was discharged to come home to South Dakota on April 5th, 2001.

Cheyenne loved music and had memorized the tunes to many of the songs she listened to singing along to each one of them. Cheyenne also loved to go outside to swing or go for a wagon ride.

Shortly after her third birthday Cheyenne’s shunt became blocked causing traumatic brain injury. Again, she proved to be a fighter. Because of the extensive medical care she needed Cheyenne went to live at Children’s Care Hospital and School, now LifeScape, in Sioux Falls.

She passed away on Saturday, September 4, 2021, at the LifeScape Children’s Services in Sioux Falls, SD.
