Memorial services for Elmer Stork, will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, October 25, 2021, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Concordia, MO, with Pastor Michael Pottschmidt and Pastor Andrew Lehenbauer officiating.

Inurnment with full military rites will follow at Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, MO. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Monday, October 25, 2021, at the church. Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Concordia, MO, is in charge of arrangements.

Born June 14, 1947, in rural Knob Noster, MO, he was the son of the late Willie Storck and Evelyn Tebbenkamp Storck. Elmer was a 1965 graduate of Knob Noster High School and earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. On April 9, 1966, he married Marjorie J. Boes, and they were married for over 55 years.

Elmer served in the United States Army in Vietnam and was a proud member of V.F.W. Post 5649 and American Legion Post 258, in Concordia, MO, where he served on the honor guard and as commander of AmVets Post 143 in Knob Noster, MO. He worked for AT&T for over 25 years and then worked for Carlyle Van Lines in Warrensburg for 20 years. Elmer was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and its men’s club and Concordia Lions Club.

Elmer Lee Storck, age 74, of rural Knob Noster, MO, passed away Saturday, October 16, 2021, at Bothwell Regional Hospital in Sedalia, KS.

He is survived by his wife, Marjorie; one daughter Lenna Braun (Brad) of Gregory, SD; one son Gary Storck (Julie) of Grain Valley, MO; seven grandchildren: Mathew Braun (Nicole), Michael Braun (Kristin), Kurt Braun, Kade Braun, James Cox, Elizabeth Storck and Emily Storck; six great-grandchildren; one brother Bill Storck (Shirley) of rural Knob Noster, MO; a brother-in-law Roger Harms of rural Knob Noster, MO; as well as nieces, nephews and other extended family.

Elmer was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter in infancy, and one sister Betty Jean Harms.
