Hailyn Montgomery

Hailyn Montgomery was born on August 4, 2023, to Joshua and Melody (Gurnsey) Montgomery. His name was chosen by his big brother weeks before he was born (before we knew he would be a boy). Albert came and said, “If the baby is a boy we should name him Hailyn” and it is a perfect name because Hailyn means gift of God.

In his too short of time here on earth, we got to see his happy face, hold him in our arms, tell him we love him, hear his happy coos, see him look around, and even test those strong legs of his. Then the next day, on August 5th, something changed and we watched him go home to be with Jesus.

Hailyn is survived by his mom and dad, Josh and Melody; his siblings: big brother Joshua, big brother Albert, big sister Olivia, and big brother Theodore; grandparents Scott and Beth Montgomery and Monte and Dawn Gurnsey; aunts and uncles Daniel (Rachel), Nolan, Alex (Allissa), Josiah, Erica (Sean), Mikayla (Jake), Gabriel (Katherine), and Trenton; as well as many cousins and many other friends and family.
