Jason was born on September 14, 1985, to Dennis “Sam” Boska and Cynia Read in Grand Island, NE.
Jason spent his younger years living in Iowa with his mom, Cynia, stepdad, Chuck, and multiple siblings. He then moved to St. Charles, SD, in the eighth grade to live with his dad’s family, Sam and Diane Boska.
Jason graduated from Bonesteel-Fairfax High School in 2004. After graduation, he studied auto collision and paint tech at Iowa Lakes Community College.
Jason had a love for the arts. He was always doodling and drawing, and was a talented builder. He spent hours in his dad’s shop, building and tinkering with everything. He enjoyed the outdoors and enjoyed fishing with his dad, brothers, uncles, cousins, and nephews. Jason loved motorcycles and vehicles. You could often find him listening to music and “working” on one of his many projects. Jason was a prankster and could always make you laugh. He loved playing with all his nieces and nephews. All kids were drawn to his fun-loving, playful nature. Jason had many dear friends and loved playing pool and darts with them.
Jason is survived by his daughter Phoenix Rose; his parents: mother Cynia (Dennis) Read, step-\\mother Diane Boska; and stepfather Carl “Chuck” (Jacki) Benedict; siblings; many nieces and nephews; grandparents: Rose Benedict, Ada Dowell, and Sid and Selma Dowell; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and his special dog Harley Quinn.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dennis “Sam” Boska; and grandparents Inez and Darrell Tech, Chuck Benedict, and Delores and Tommy Boska.
