Lorraine Creasey

Lorraine Creasey was born on January 10, 1925, at home in Jamison, NE, to Lloyd and Margaret (Painter) Heyden. She attended elementary school in Nebraska and high school in South Dakota. She also was a graduate of Southern State Normal School in Springfield, SD, where she received her teaching certificate. She was united in marriage to Wendell L. Creasey on May 25, 1947 in Filer, ID.

Lorraine had been a school teacher and also a wife and mother. She sewed many quilts and enjoyed crocheting, writing letters and was an avid reader. After the death of her husband in 2008 she moved to Wisconsin to be near her children.

Lorraine E. Creasey, 96, passed away on Monday, May 24, 2021 at Wells Nature View Assisted Living in Marshfield, WI.

Lorraine is survived by three daughters, Patricia (Lester) Lewis of Medford, WI, Ruth Seehafer of Menomonee, WI, and Wendy (Paul “Buck”) Drexler of Stratford, WI; seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by siblings, Havor (Carol) Heyden, Harlan (Dorris) Heyden and Patricia Heyden.

Lorraine will be taken back to Nebraska where services and burial will be held on June 19, 2021, at Spotted Tail Cemetery. Rembs Funeral Home in Marshfield, WI, is in charge of arrangements.
