A memorial service for Regina Larson will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 4, 2022. Gill Brothers Funeral Service & Cremation, of Bloomington, MN is in charge of arrangements. She was born March 18, 1948, at Valentine, NE, to Stephen and Ruth (Harper) Borszich, the youngest of four children. She spent her first years at Lakeview, SD, then moved with her family to Gregory, SD. She attended all 12 years of school there. During her high school years, Gina ran track, played basketball, played drums in the band, sang in the choir and small groups, joined many clubs, and went to Girls State, and was a yearbook editor. Gina attended the University of South Dakota and graduated with a business degree in 1970, earning her master’s later. She worked as a court reporting teacher at Rasmussen Business College and Minnesota School of Business until retirement. In 1974, she married Raymond Larson at Yankton, SD. They lived in Richfield, MN, then moved to Bloomington, MN, where they lived until her passing. Gina and Ray were married for 48 years.

Gina was an avid drummer and an artist who loved to paint, draw, and photograph her creations, then mount them on cards and frames. She enjoyed music and dancing whenever possible. She found beauty in nature and loved to walk and travel to beautiful places. With her keen sense of humor, she was always coming up with a comical remark that made us all laugh. She loved the Lord and touched the world with her smile.

Regina Ruth Larson, 74, passed away on Friday, October 21, 2022, at Bloomington, MN.

Gina is survived by her husband Ray; her daughters Renae (Anthony) Wallin, Hopkins, MN, and Rochelle (Nick) Listul, Carver, MN; her sister Kathy Zimmer, Ramsey, MN; brother Michael (Mick) Borszich, Gregory, SD; sister-in-law Elaine (Jim) Gregorich, Spring Lake Park, MN; her niece Dawn Zimmer, Ramsey, MN; nephews: Kelly Borszich, Oacoma, SD, Dave Borszich, Gregory, SD, Stephen Borszich and Robert Borszich of Grand Junction, CO; many Larson great nieces and nephews; one granddaughter, and many great nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Don. Memorials will be made to the Gregory High School Marching Band.
