On December 29, 1983, Robert married Jan Marie Rasmussen. With this union they had three children: Chad William, Nichole Dawn, and Cole Robert. They raised their children on the family farm which they purchased in 1990. Bob and Jan continued to live on the farm until Bob’s retirement in 2013.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting and his grandchildren. Bob especially loved watching his grandkids play all of their sporting events. He enjoyed his morning coffee with the crew from H&J and boating on the river with family and friends.
