Memorial services for Terry Muller are scheduled for Saturday, April 17, 2021, at 2:30 p.m. at the United Church of Christ in Naper, NE, with Alex Bendig officiating.
Inurnment will be held at a later date in Oakdale Cemetery in Naper, NE. Clausen Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Terry was born on July 31, 1944, to Hayward and Leona Muller, in Burke, SD. Terry spent his entire life in the Naper, NE area, including many years along the Keya Paha River. He attended school in Naper graduating in 1963.
Terry was united in marriage to Pamela Smith on March 3, 1973, to this union two children, Chad and Chandra were born. Terry and Pam moved to the farm along the Keya Paha River where they ran cattle, hogs, chickens and raised a large garden. While working the farm he also ran the county maintainer for many years and also worked on the Boyd County bridge crew. Terry worked for many farmers and ranchers in the Naper area over the years as a hired hand.
Terry’s passion for fishing and hunting was second to none. He would take any opportunity he could get to enjoy the outdoors. He not only enjoyed the catching of the fish and spending time looking at the turtles and nature, he also, was a big fan of the fish fry that would come after the catching. This passion was passed along to many friends over the years and especially to his kids. Terry also enjoyed sitting on his porch and soaking in the sites and sounds of mother nature along with waving to the friends and neighbors that would drive or stop by.
Terry Lee Muller, age 76, of Naper, NE, passed away on February 15, 2021 at the Avera Gregory Hospital.
He was preceded in death by his parents Hayward and Leona Muller and sister Beverly Muller Bullard.
He is survived by his son Chad and wife Kiley and daughters; daughter Chandra; brother Wendell and wife Deb; sister Myrna; along with a host of friends and family.
