Funeral services for Toni Totton were held on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at the Prairie View Gospel Barn in Gregory, SD, with Pastor Aric Hamilton and Pastor Royal Archer officiating.
Marlene Rezac was in charge of registration. Burial was in the IOOF Cemetery in Gregory, SD. Kotrba-Smith Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Toni Blaire Totton, baby daughter of Clara Plooster and Brian Totton, was stillborn on Thursday, July 20, 2023, at Avera St. Mary’s Healthcare Center in Pierre, SD.
Toni was two pounds and fifteen inches long. Even though Toni didn’t get to spend any time with us here on earth, she was very loved and touched many lives. Toni’s big sister Jade was eager to have a little sister, and her parents and grandparents were excited for the future that awaited little Toni.
Toni is survived by her parents Clara and Brian; sister Jade; grandparents Alexandria (Quincy) Spann, Duane Plooster, and Donna and Mike Totton; great-grandfather Leroy Totton and great-grandparents Roberta and Larry Spann; aunts and uncles Justina Carr, Tyler Huls (Ashley Wang), Jaiden Plooster, Chandra Dykshorn, and Brandon Plooster; and many cousins and other relatives.
Toni is preceded in death by great-grandparents Lloyd Plooster, Doris and William Neirynck, Jacqueline Salwei, Milly Huntemann, Don Jacob, and Darlene Totton, and many great aunts and uncles.
