Funeral services for Oakley Eide was held on Saturday, February 19, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Burke, SD, with Pastor Sarah Hermann officiating.

Memorial services for Edwin Tech will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 5, 2022, at the Northridge Assembly of God in Grand Island, NE, with Pastor Mark Oberbeck officiating. Military honors will follow the service at the church. Apfel Funeral Home of Grand Island, NE, is in charge of arrangements.

Funeral services for Samuel Hoffart were held Friday, February 11, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. at the Gregory Memorial Auditorium in Gregory, SD, with Pastor Russ Grim officiating. Wes Hoffart gave the eulogy.

Graveside services for Ethel Vavra were held at the ZCBJ Cemetery, south of Winner, on January 22, 2022, with Rev. John Price of the Winner United Methodist Church officiating. Because of Covid, a memorial in her honor will be held at a later date.

Dean Beryl McIntyre was born in Portland, OR, on July 17, 1945, to Harry and Irene Mc- Intyre, and grew up on a farm two miles outside of Gregory, SD. He attended Gregory High School, graduating in 1963, and then furthered his education by attending community college where he received certification as a car mechanic.

A memorial service for Donald Kahler was held on Saturday, January 22, 2022, at 3:30 p.m. at Kotrba-Smith Funeral Home in Gregory, SD, with Pastor Marcus Ring officiating.
