Burke Bombers 3 Colome Chaos 0 The Burke Bombers defeated Colome Chaos, 3-0, in the first round of the District 3B Amateur Baseball Tournament in Chamberlain on July 25. Both teams were strong on the hill but the Bombers came out on top.

The 7th-9th grade VFW State Baseball Tournament Delta Division was held in Gregory July 24-26, and the home team showed up for their fans with a state championship in dramatic fashion. The tournament started off with pool play on Friday, with the six teams divided into the Battalion pool and the Company pool.
