Region play kicked off on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, and what an exciting start for our girls! The Gregory Lady Spikers traveled to Burke to face off against the Lyman Lady Red Raiders and came out strong, taking the match in four sets with scores of 25-9, 2624, 23-25, and 25-11. “I could not be more proud of the energy and competitive fire these girls showed,” Head Coach Lauren Braun said.

The Gregory Spikers hosted the Andes Central/Dakota Christian Lady Thunder on Monday, October 27, 2025, for their final regular season home game. The Spikers came out strong and maintained their momentum throughout the night, securing a clean three-set victory to finish the regular season with an 11-15 record.

The Gregory Spikers traveled to the SESD Conference Tournament on Saturday, October 25, 2025, and came home with a 2-2 record, finishing in 5th place, which matched their tournament seeding going in. The Spikers started strong, defeating the Mount Vernon-Plankinton Titans in two sets.

The Gregory Spikers traveled to White Lake on Monday, October 20, 2025, to take on the Kimball/ White Lake WiLdKats. The Spikers showed grit and composure in a challenging environment, pushing through adversity with determination and teamwork.

The Gregory Spikers traveled to Mount Vernon-Plankinton on Tuesday, October 21, to face off against the Lady Titans and came away with a strong threeset victory. The girls played with great energy and focus from the start, executing well on both offense and defense to control the pace of the match.

The Gregory cheer and dance team competed in the state meet in Watertown on Friday, October 24, 2024, and ended the season with some of their best performances. The girls performed their cheer routine first, and executed perfectly, according to Coach Lenna Braun.

The Gregory football team ended their 2025 season Thursday evening, October 23, 2025, with a 28-48 loss to Bon Homme in the first round of playoffs. Although saddened to see the season end, Coach Mike Murray wasn’t disappointed in his team.

Gregory runners participated in a cool, breezy, overcast state meet on Saturday, October 25, 2025, in Huron, SD. Luke Barreto capped off his senior season by making it onto the podium with a 14th place finish and a time of 17:32.74. Luke finishes his stellar career at Gregory, placing in the last three state meets.
