After the Bronco fundraiser, a matching pledge challenge up to $200,000 was issued, beginning July 9. Since that time, various fundraisers have been held, and the total amount of money toward the matching funds is currently at $28,298.40.

The Gregory Times-Advocate has been purchased by Morgan Painter effective January 1, 2025. Painter grew up in Springview, NE, graduating from Keya Paha County High School in 2015.

Saturday, December 14, was National Wreaths Across America Day. In observance, the Sons of the American Legion Squadron #6 placed a wreath at the IOOF Cemetery in Gregory on the grave of WWI veteran Alfred Hutchison, whom the Gregory post is named after.
