24th annual convention highlights

R-CALF USA just completed its 24th annual convention held August 17 - 18 in Rapid City, SD. It was a huge success, with about 350 members in attendance and over 2,000 viewers watching and listening over the internet live streaming service provided by CattleUSA.

Carol Anderson celebrated after career of 50+ years at cafe

Carol Anderson was celebrated by the people of Gregory last Thursday afternoon. Anderson, practically a permanent living fixture in the cafe at the corner of 6th and Main, retired after over 50 years of working there.

CORRECTION:

During the City Council meeting last Monday, it was reported that Darwin Grim seconded the motion to raise the Chamber Director’s salary and benefits. Grim actually voted against the decision. Guhner Kepler seconded the motion.
