Carter Baumgartner didn’t allow a single run as Gregory County Jr. Teeners defeated the Valentine Juniors 8-0 in the first game of a double header in Valentine on Monday, June 5. Baumgartner allowed just two hits.

There were no shortage of struggles on the golf course during week two for the women. A light rain, an injury, and a flat tire to name a few. But a significant other or two to work on the tire and a little sun worked wonders. A mere half point separated team VanDerWerff/VanDerWerff from Team Bakke /VanDerWerff for the lead for the week. Team Stukel/ Stoddard were right behind them in third place.

Gregory County Legion 18U outhit Winner/Colome eight to seven, but it wasn’t enough in an 8-6 loss Wednesday evening, June 7, in Winner. Winner/Colome opened up scoring in the first inning, when Barfuss tripled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run.
