South Dakota Attorney General Jason Ravnsborg announced on December 21 that the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri has sustained the motion for a preliminary injunction on the Biden Administration’s vaccine mandate for federal contractors and subcontractors in the plaintiff-states of South Dakota, Missouri, Nebraska, Arkansas, Kansas, Iowa, Wyoming, Alaska, North Dakota, and New Hampshire.

Attorney General Jason Ravnsborg has joined a multi-state lawsuit against President Joe Biden’s overreaching COVID mandates. The suit led by Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry, takes aim at the President’s unlawful requirements of masks on toddlers and COVID-19 shots for staff and volunteers in Head Start Programs.

Shortly after the United States purchased the vast Louisiana Territory in 1803 from France, the feeling was that this gigantic piece of property would not be completely settled for at least 500 years. That was not the case. In 1903, there was no roundup organized by the Western South Dakota Stockgrowers Association in either Gregory or Lyman counties. At the WSDSGA meeting in 1904, the increasing number of homesteaders crowding onto the public domain in South Dakota was an important topic of discussion.

When Todd Christensen joined the fire department 35 years ago, he planned when he would retire. “When I started, I wanted to make 35 years,” he admitted.

The regular meeting of the Gregory City Council was held at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at City Hall. This was a change from the normal Monday evening schedule because of the elementary holiday concert.
