Although Josey Larson took over as Public Works Superintendent for the City of Gregory on July 1, many people still don’t seem to know. Larson started working for the city three years ago, so perhaps people haven’t realized that he has stepped into a new position.

Bowling a perfect 300 game – 12 strikes in a row – is no small feat. As excitement rises and adrenaline starts pumping, when it is time to throw that 12th strike, it is difficult to keep everything in check. That’s why perfect 300 games don’t happen very often.

The city has been working for several years to make Gregory a more attractive place to live and visit, and the Gregory/Dallas Chamber of Commerce is taking the beautification efforts one giant step further, hosting “Paint the Town” on Saturday, October 2, in an effort to bring out the arts in the two communities.

The regular meeting of the Gregory City Council was held at 6:00 p.m., Monday, September 20, 2021, at City Hall. Grants are the story at the library Librarian Tara Engel is looking to hire one or two eighth or ninth grade students and/or an adult to fill out her work schedule.
